Dr. Dirks’ area of expertise includes bariatric surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and anti-reflux surgery. She specializes in sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, Single-Anastomosis Duodenal Switch (SADS, also referred to as SIPS), duodenal switch, and revisions. Dr. Dirks performs laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. She strives to treat all her patients like family and provide excellent care and education so that patients are engaged in their own healthcare. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Dirks enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, jogging, reading, and traveling.
