Description

Dr. Stephen Ettinghausen is the Director of Surgical Oncology at Rochester General Hospital and a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. He received a BA from Amherst College and an MD from Weill Cornell Medical College. After two years of residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and one year of residency in anatomic pathology at New York Hospital‑Cornell, he completed residency in General Surgery at New York Hospital‑Cornell. His surgical oncology training included fellowships in the Surgery Branch at the National Cancer Institute (NIH) and at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
