Yelena Khaitin, MD

Description

Dr. Khaitin is the third generation of doctors in her family, grateful to work at ElderONE, where she assists participants at the Emerson PACE Center. She completed her medical degree at the Medical Kirov State Academy in Russia. After immigrating to the U.S. she learned the language and, after passing board exams, completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, where she was chosen as Chief Resident for 2012. She then finished her Geriatric fellowship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. Currently Dr. Khaitin is enjoying practicing geriatrics and living in the charming city of Rochester with her family.
